Explore the joy of gardening with our easy-to-grow exotic plant and flower seeds. Each pack contains 25 seeds, ideal for both beginner and seasoned gardeners looking to cultivate stunning blooms.

History:

Roses have a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, with fossil evidence indicating their presence. Originating over 5,000 years ago in Asian gardens, roses made their way to Europe during the Roman Empire, mainly used for ornamental purposes. Historical records recount Nero showering rose petals from ceilings at lavish feasts, and Cleopatra scattering them before Mark Anthony.

Planting Rose Seeds:

Note: Seeds require stratification for 30 to 50 days before planting.

Step One: Stratification

Perform this step in winter when temperatures are below 5°C. Soak the seeds in gibberellin-infused water for 48 hours. Then, mix the seeds with moist sand at a 1:3 ratio. The sand should clump when squeezed but crumble when released. Store this mixture in a refrigerator or similar cold environment for 30 to 50 days.

Step Two: Sowing

Moisten the soil before planting. Sow the seeds and cover them with 1 to 1.5 cm of soil. The ideal temperature for germination is 20°C.

Step Three: Post-Planting Care

Water sparingly, ensuring the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Germination typically occurs within 15 days.

Step Four: Achieving Blooms

1. Provide ample sunlight: at least half a day, with good air circulation.

2. Regular pruning encourages healthy growth.

3. Follow a fertilization schedule for robust development.

4. Repot annually if the pot size becomes inadequate for the growing roots.
